Sofia Coppola Champagne       Sofia Coppola, daughter of film director and wine mogul, Francis Ford Coppola has followed in her father’s foot steps to create a champagne (sparkling wine) of her own.

In celebration of Sophia’s marriage to director Spike Jonze in 1999, Francis Coppola released a sparkling white wine labeled Sofia Blanc de Blancs which is Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscat. The pink wrapped bottle is perfect to bring to any party. But why party, when you can go to the club and sip on Sofia mini. That’s right…soon after there was a mini. An innovative approach to wine on the go, this pink straw inclusive can looks like an energy drink, but tastes like champagne. They are perfect to bring to a pool or beach or if you just don’t want an entire bottle.

In 2003 Sophia won her first Oscar and earning her a new wine titled the Sofia Rose. In a sensuously shaped bottle, this refreshingly pink wine is perfect to bring along to a warm summertime picnic or girlie birthday bash. However, do not be fooled by its fun evanescent image, just as her former marriage, this wine is not sweet. The Sofia Rose was produced to imitate the original roses of southern France, which are typically dry. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the Carneros region and crushed immediately after harvesting, this wine receives it rose color from 48 hour cold soak, and undergoes a cold fermentation to maintain acidity necessary for a crisp taste.
