Bothe Napa Valley State Park PDF Print E-mail
Napa Valley is a great place to enjoy nature. Skip the spas and wineries and go camping. Bothe Park, located between St. Helena and Calistoga, is one of Napa Valley’s hidden treasures.

This park has a ton of fun activities to offer, like camping, hiking, and swimming.  For about $5 you can spend the day walking through the majestic fir trees, picnicking along a bubbling stream, or taking a cool dip in the nearby pool. Horseback riding is also available through reservation. Stay the night for less than $20 a night, which beats the high prices of hotels, and wake up relaxed in the fresh outdoors. Bothe Park also has large grounds equipped with horseshoe pits and picnic tables, and makes a great spot for group gatherings. Whether it’s simply a picnic spot along the way to the next winery or a weekend of hiking and camping, be sure to stop by and appreciate the preserved beauty of this state park.
